Boingbook.com - Response to Social Bookmarking Questions
I have had some comments recently asking me to add one or more social bookmarking services to the bottom of the articles so readers would have an easier time submitting them or bookmarking them, like Technorati.
I am happy to assist as I like to see the articles tagged, linked, voted for, and bookmarked all over the place. That tells me you like the dating tips and relationship advice, or maybe the how to guides that you read.
Right now, you can submit articles to Digg.com, Sk*rt.com, Reddit.com & Stumbleupon with links at the bottom of each article. There is also another link down there that gets lost in the shuffle that may solve the problem for those readers wanting to bookmark or submit these articles somewhere else. See the red/orange line below.

If you click on the "Social Bookmark This" icon, it will open up a page like the thumbnail image below where you can submit the article to several different sites. Click on the thumbnail image to see the various sites you can post to. If you have a favorite that is not listed, let me know and I will do what I can to make it easier for you where practical.
If you do a lot of social bookmarking, you might also want to take a look at a free service from OnlyWire.com that will make the job of submitting or bookmarking easier for you.
I would like to say thank you to all of our readers out there, we are growing every single day. Our largest readership is from the United States followed by the UK and Australia. This very second we have readers in New Zealand, Hong Kong, India, Pakistan, Estonia, Sweden, the UK, the United States, Canada and some US Navy readers off the coast of Africa.
The comments you send, the bookmarks or votes you give the articles on one of the social bookmarking services helps me shape the subject matter of the content to what you want to know about. For example, the "How to Touch" articles were directly driven by reader feedback.
I would like to give a special shout out to one reader in Muskegon, Michigan and one in Anchorage, Alaska.
Thank you and keep reading and bookmarking. If you like what you are reading you can donate to the site on the main page or a vote or two at Technorati would be nice as well.
OK, for the sake of simplicity, I have changed the bookmarking tool to a more traditional button that will still allow you to bookmark these articles in many places, just not quite as many.
Once the button is pressed, it opens up this box.
This is a button to make your life easier, hopefully this will simplify access for you. If I do not get any feedback, I will assume we are good. I am always interested in improving the overall user experience so make recomendations when you see something that might be improved. No guarantees the change will be made but I will certainly evaluate the possibilities.
